Match threads - Accepted format for Headline

TalkCricket allows only a particular format when it comes to match threads. All members who intend to post new match threads should get acquainted with the accepted format.

Go to Cricinfo and find the match you are interested in. Here's an example below from the upcoming 4th Test between England and India. Copy the part that's highlighted in YELLOW.

England vs India, 4th Test at Manchester, ENG vs IND, Jul 23 2025

This is the only accepted format to ensure consistency so that matches can be found easily by members when they search for a particular match.

Admins and Mods are requested to edit any match thread that doesn't follow this exact format.
